- Free UK Mainland delivery on all Smart Fire and Neverdark products.
- Smart Fire and Neverdark fireplaces are made to order and delivered directly by the supplier’s own logistics team from London, not by a courier or pallet network.
- Additional charges apply to Scottish Highlands and rural areas. Please contact us before ordering for a delivery quote.
- We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, or the Scottish offshore islands (Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles).
- Delivery date and time are agreed with our supplier’s logistics team in advance. If the delivery cannot be completed at the agreed time, re-delivery charges apply.
- Lead times are confirmed at the order stage.
Returns
- Smart Fire and Neverdark fireplaces are made to order and manufactured to your specification. Under UK consumer law, bespoke goods made to order are exempt from the 14-day statutory right to cancel.
- Returns are accepted only if the product arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is incorrect.
- All faulty or incorrect product returns are arranged directly with the supplier and handled by their logistics team.
- Please inspect your product carefully at the time of delivery and report any visible damage before signing.

The Chalet II is built around an idea that most fireplaces never attempt: a flame that looks like a real fire. Not a ribbon of bioethanol burning across a single line, but a layered, three-dimensional display of flame rising through a bed of handmade ceramic logs and lava stones. The effect is immediately different from anything in the same category. Every unit is made to order, sized to suit the space, and available in two configurations to suit different installation types.
A Flame That Looks Like a Real Fire
The Chalet II uses a patented volumetric burner — a wide, rectangular flame area from which fire rises at multiple points simultaneously. The flames curl around and lick the ceramic logs in a way that closely resembles the appearance of a wood-burning fire. Lava stones and glowing fibre complete the scene at the base.
It is a distinctly different visual from a linear burner, and noticeably so — particularly in low light, where the depth and movement of the flame become the focal point of the room.
Burn times range from around 6.2 hours on the 700 mm (IN) model up to 9.8 hours on the 1,500 mm (IN), depending on the size and flame setting chosen.
Controlled the Way You'd Expect
Refuelling is fully automatic — press a button and the burner fills itself from the integrated tank. A smartphone-style touchscreen controls ignition, flame level, and shutdown. The same functions are accessible through the Neverdark mobile app and the included remote control.
The (IN) configuration features an integrated push-to-open panel for control and refuelling — everything contained within the unit. The (EX) configuration uses an external module — ARS Standard, mini ARS (up), or mini ARS (down) — positioned nearby in a niche or adjacent wall, keeping the fireplace face completely clean.
Smart Home integration is available as an optional extra, connecting the Chalet II to your existing home automation system.
Finished to Your Specification
The top panel is finished in matte black as standard — a textured surface that suits both contemporary and traditional interiors. For installations where a different finish is needed, the Chalet II is available in INOX, light bronze, or dark bronze, or any RAL colour in matte — specified at the point of order.
Optional glass borders can be added to frame the flame opening, creating a more contained, gallery-like appearance.
Built-In, Made to Order
The Chalet II is designed for recessed installation — built into a wall, media unit, or architectural feature. It requires no chimney or flue, but does need an electrical connection for the automatic refuelling and control systems.
Standard widths run from 700 mm to 1,500 mm in the (IN) configuration; 700 mm to 1,200 mm in the (EX) configuration. Custom lengths are available on request. All dimensions are confirmed at the point of order.
