- Smart Fire and Neverdark fireplaces are made to order and delivered directly by the supplier's own logistics team from London, not by a courier or pallet network.
- Delivery is quoted individually based on your postcode and site access. Please contact us for a delivery quote before placing your order.
- Lead times are confirmed at the order stage.
- The £29 / free over £500 UK Mainland delivery offer does not apply to Smart Fire and Neverdark products.
Returns
- Smart Fire and Neverdark fireplaces are made to order and manufactured to your specification. Under UK consumer law, bespoke goods made to order are exempt from the 14-day statutory right to cancel.
- Returns are accepted only if the product arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is incorrect.
- All faulty or incorrect product returns are arranged directly with the supplier and handled by their logistics team.
- Please inspect your product carefully at the time of delivery and report any visible damage before signing.

The Neverdark TST is a see-through Thermobox for the Firetec and Automatic burners — open on both faces, so the flame is visible simultaneously from two sides. The most architecturally dramatic configuration, and the natural choice for a wall between two rooms.
Fully insulated to Neverdark's specification — installs directly into combustible surrounds including timber framing and MDF, and can be positioned directly beneath a television without any heat clearance concerns. Available in standard installation (with a front frame covering the wall finish) and hidden installation (fully flush, no frame).

The TST is the see-through Thermobox for the Firetec and Automatic burners — open on both the front and rear faces, with the flame visible simultaneously from two sides. The most architecturally distinctive configuration in the range, and the natural choice for a wall intended to serve two spaces.
The See-Through Configuration
Unlike the TRD, which is designed for a partition wall shared between two defined spaces, the TST is typically used where the see-through quality itself is the design intention — a wall of glass, a low dividing element, or a feature that is meant to be looked through as much as looked at. Both faces of the installation are open, and the flame is equally visible from either side. Short glass borders are available; a long glass border is not available on this configuration.
Insulation — Why It Matters
What sets every Neverdark Thermobox apart from standard bioethanol housings is the quality of its insulation. The steel enclosure is insulated to a level that eliminates the heat clearance distances that standard uninsulated boxes require. A Thermobox can be built directly into a timber-framed wall, integrated into MDF cabinetry, or positioned immediately beneath a television — situations where an uninsulated housing simply cannot be used safely. That engineering is reflected in the price, and it is what makes these installations genuinely flexible rather than just architecturally attractive.
Standard and Hidden Installation
Hidden installation is particularly well-suited to the TST — with no front frame on either face and the top-opening controls entirely out of sight, the installation can read as a pure flame element with no visible hardware on either side. Standard installation adds a front frame on the viewing face. In both installation configurations, the control and refuelling panel opens from the top of the unit rather than the front face. This keeps the front of the installation clean regardless of which configuration is chosen. On Firetec-based installations, the motion sensor lid lifts at the wave of a hand — no contact required.
