- Smart Fire and Neverdark fireplaces are made to order and delivered directly by the supplier's own logistics team from London, not by a courier or pallet network.
- Delivery is quoted individually based on your postcode and site access. Please contact us for a delivery quote before placing your order.
- Lead times are confirmed at the order stage.
- The £29 / free over £500 UK Mainland delivery offer does not apply to Smart Fire and Neverdark products.
Returns
- Smart Fire and Neverdark fireplaces are made to order and manufactured to your specification. Under UK consumer law, bespoke goods made to order are exempt from the 14-day statutory right to cancel.
- Returns are accepted only if the product arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is incorrect.
- All faulty or incorrect product returns are arranged directly with the supplier and handled by their logistics team.
- Please inspect your product carefully at the time of delivery and report any visible damage before signing.

The Neverdark TLC is a left-corner Thermobox for the Firetec and Automatic burners. It wraps the installation around a room corner, with the flame face on the front and the left return integrated into the adjacent wall.
Fully insulated to Neverdark's specification — installs directly into combustible surrounds including timber framing and MDF, and can be positioned directly beneath a television without any heat clearance concerns. Available in standard installation (with a front frame covering the wall finish) and hidden installation (fully flush, no frame).

The TLC is the left-corner Thermobox for the Firetec and Automatic burners. It wraps the installation into a room corner, with the flame face presented on the front and the left return of the enclosure sitting flush into the adjacent wall — integrating the fireplace into the architecture of the corner itself.
The Corner Configuration
The TLC positions the burner so that the flame face is on the front of the installation, with the left side of the enclosure forming part of the wall return at the corner. The result is a fireplace that reads as part of the room's geometry rather than something set into a flat wall. Long and short glass borders and a reflection screen are available to develop the opening further.
Insulation — Why It Matters
What sets every Neverdark Thermobox apart from standard bioethanol housings is the quality of its insulation. The steel enclosure is insulated to a level that eliminates the heat clearance distances that standard uninsulated boxes require. A Thermobox can be built directly into a timber-framed wall, integrated into MDF cabinetry, or positioned immediately beneath a television — situations where an uninsulated housing simply cannot be used safely. That engineering is reflected in the price, and it is what makes these installations genuinely flexible rather than just architecturally attractive.
Standard and Hidden Installation
Standard installation includes a front frame that sits over the opening and covers the surrounding wall finish — the right choice where the surrounding material needs to be concealed or where a defined border suits the design. The hidden installation has no front frame: the Thermobox sits completely flush inside the opening, with only the flame visible and the wall plane unbroken around it. In both installation configurations, the control and refuelling panel opens from the top of the unit rather than the front face. This keeps the front of the installation clean regardless of which configuration is chosen. On Firetec-based installations, the motion sensor lid lifts at the wave of a hand — no contact required.
