- Free UK Mainland delivery on all Smart Fire and Neverdark products.
- Smart Fire and Neverdark fireplaces are made to order and delivered directly by the supplier’s own logistics team from London, not by a courier or pallet network.
- Additional charges apply to Scottish Highlands and rural areas. Please contact us before ordering for a delivery quote.
- We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, or the Scottish offshore islands (Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles).
- Delivery date and time are agreed with our supplier’s logistics team in advance. If the delivery cannot be completed at the agreed time, re-delivery charges apply.
- Lead times are confirmed at the order stage.
Returns
- Smart Fire and Neverdark fireplaces are made to order and manufactured to your specification. Under UK consumer law, bespoke goods made to order are exempt from the 14-day statutory right to cancel.
- Returns are accepted only if the product arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is incorrect.
- All faulty or incorrect product returns are arranged directly with the supplier and handled by their logistics team.
- Please inspect your product carefully at the time of delivery and report any visible damage before signing.

The Fild is the simplest Neverdark fireplace — and deliberately so. A floor-standing angled panel that leans against the wall, an automatic linear burner, and a reflective black glass back panel that gives the flame more presence than its physical footprint would suggest. It is designed for the space under a television, where a more substantial fire would not fit and a decorative one would not be convincing enough.
The Linear Flame
Unlike the volumetric models in the Neverdark range, the Fild produces a single, continuous linear flame that runs the full length of the burner bed. There are no ceramic logs or lava stones — just a clean line of bioethanol fire. The reflective black glass panel at the back of the unit throws the flame back on itself, visually deepening it and giving the fire a presence that the narrow depth of the unit alone would not provide. Three flame levels allow the fire to be adjusted from a low ambient burn to a full-height flame.
Design and Format
The Fild stands on the floor and leans against the wall at a slight angle — the angled panel is the characteristic form of the unit, and it means the fire can sit neatly in the gap between a media unit or TV stand and the wall above. The matte black top panel and the push-to-open access panel keep the front face clean. An LCD display shows the status of the burner.
Control
The Fild is controlled via the integrated LCD display and an included remote control (on/off and flame level adjustment). There is no smartphone app and no Smart Home connectivity on this model. Refuelling is automatic — press the push-to-open panel to access the controls and the burner fills itself from the integrated tank.
No Installation Required
The Fild is freestanding and requires no wall fixing or installation. It needs a power connection for the automatic refuelling and control systems. Standard length is 1,000 mm; custom lengths are available on request.
