Replacement outer shell designed for use with compatible Cocoon Aeris or Pedestal fireplaces. Intended to provide the external finish as specified by the manufacturer.
Cocoon Shell — White
The Cocoon Shell in white is the softest and most architectural expression of Federico Otero's oval globe design. Against the warmth of a bioethanol flame, white creates a striking contrast — the clean, cool exterior of the shell and the amber fire visible through the opening exist in a tension that is visually compelling without being busy. In a light interior, the white shell almost disappears into the space, making the flame itself the only element that demands attention. In a darker room, it reads as a deliberate sculptural object.
A clean, architectural presence
The white carbon steel shell carries the same oval form and 60 cm diameter as the rest of the Cocoon range, at 14 kg — a physical weight that communicates quality immediately. The white finish is smooth and consistent across the surface, without the variation of a polished or matte metallic. It suits Scandinavian, minimalist, and contemporary interiors particularly well, and pairs naturally with the white pedestal base for a fully unified installation or with the polished copper or brass base for a warm accent beneath a cool shell.
Use with pedestal base or Aeris ceiling system
The white shell is compatible with all Cocoon Fires base and suspension configurations — the full range of pedestal bases and the Aeris ceiling mount. The Cocoon 2.0 Burner is required and sold separately. If assembling a complete installation, select the base or ceiling mount and burner alongside this shell.
