The white Cocoon Pedestal Base is the cleanest, most pared-back option in the range — a white steel platform that lets the shell sit as a pure sculptural form without any contrast or colour distraction at the base. For light interiors, all-white installations, and spaces where minimalism is the design language, this is the most cohesive choice. Paired with the Cocoon Shell White, it creates a complete, monochromatic freestanding fireplace of quiet elegance.
A clean base for light interiors
The white finish recedes in rooms with light walls, pale stone, and neutral palettes — the pedestal supports without competing, and the shell becomes the sole focus. It is equally effective as a contrast element in darker rooms, where a white pedestal and shell read as a deliberate, considered object against a more textured or tonal background. At 36 cm in height and 40 cm in diameter, the proportions are composed and unfussy.
Freestanding — no installation required
The pedestal requires no ceiling fixing or structural preparation. Place it in position, set the Cocoon shell in the holder, and the installation is complete. Fully portable and self-contained — suitable for any interior without any preparatory work.
