Replacement stand for the Cocoon Fires Pedestal bioethanol fireplace. Can also be used to convert the ceiling-mounted Cocoon Aeris into a free standing bioethanol fireplace.
Cocoon Pedestal Base — Matte Black
The Cocoon Pedestal Base in matte black converts the Aeris shell into a freestanding floor-standing fireplace — no ceiling fixing, no structural preparation, and no installation beyond placing the base and setting the shell in the holder. The matte black finish gives the pedestal a quiet, considered presence that recedes into darker interior schemes and makes the shell itself the visual focus.
Freestanding — place anywhere
At 36 cm in height with a 40 cm diameter base, the pedestal holds the Cocoon shell at a low, sculptural level that works well in living rooms, dining spaces, and open-plan layouts where a floor-level centrepiece is more effective than a ceiling-hung installation. The base is stable and self-contained — no drilling, no wall fixings, and no requirement for any ceiling structure capable of supporting the suspension rod load.
Matte black finish
The matte black steel finish is the most graphic option in the pedestal range — particularly effective paired with the Cocoon Shell Black for a monochromatic, all-black configuration, or used as a contrast base beneath a Polished Steel or White shell. The matte surface is resistant to fingerprints and maintains its appearance with minimal maintenance.
Compatibility
Compatible with all standard Cocoon Fires shells, including the Cocoon Shell Polished Steel, Cocoon Shell Black, and Cocoon Shell White. The Cocoon 2.0 Burner is required separately if not already included with the shell.
