- £29 UK Mainland delivery. Free on orders over £500.
- Additional charges apply to Scottish Highlands and rural areas. Please contact us before ordering for a delivery quote to these areas.
- We do not currently deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, or the Scottish offshore islands (Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles).
- UK-stocked items typically dispatch within 1–2 business days. EU-stocked items typically dispatch within 1–3 weeks.
- Larger fireplaces and media wall units are delivered on a pallet, kerbside only. Someone must be present to receive the delivery.
- Tracking details are sent once your order has been dispatched.
Returns
- 14-day return request window from the date of delivery
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in original packaging
- Return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect.
- We may deduct from your refund for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and function.

The Cocoon Fires Base and Holder converts the Aeris shell from a ceiling-hung installation into a freestanding floor-standing fireplace. The polished steel pedestal base cradles the Cocoon shell at standing height, creating the classic Cocoon Pedestal configuration — a sculptural, freestanding bioethanol fireplace that requires no ceiling fixing and no structural preparation. Place it, fit the shell, fill the burner, and light.
From ceiling to floor — no installation required
The pedestal base is the most flexible way to use a Cocoon shell. Unlike the Aeris ceiling configuration, the freestanding pedestal requires no drilling, no ceiling fixings, and no specialist installation — it simply sits on the floor and holds the shell in place. At 36 cm in height, it presents the shell at a low, considered level that suits open-plan living spaces, dining areas, and any room where a floor-level focal point is the right choice.
Polished steel finish
The polished stainless steel base and holder reflect the metallic character of the shell and complement the full range of Cocoon shell finishes — particularly striking paired with the Polished Steel or White shells. The 40 cm diameter base provides a stable footprint for the shell, and the holder cradles the lower section of the globe securely without any visible fixings.
Compatibility
Compatible with all standard Cocoon Fires shells, including the Cocoon Shell Polished Steel, Cocoon Shell Black, and Cocoon Shell White. The Cocoon 2.0 Burner is required separately if not already included with the shell.
