Aeris Ceiling Mount — Flat Ceiling
The Aeris Ceiling Mount is the essential fixing point for the Cocoon Aeris suspended bioethanol fireplace. Designed specifically for flat ceilings, it provides a clean, secure anchor for the suspension rod and shell, keeping the installation tight to the ceiling line and presenting only a minimal polished steel disc at the ceiling surface. For a suspended fireplace that is as much a sculptural object as a heat source, the quality of the mounting hardware matters — and this is built to match the Aeris standard.
Designed for flat ceilings
The flat ceiling mount is the standard configuration for the Cocoon Aeris and suits most domestic and commercial ceiling types — plasterboard, concrete, timber joist, and solid masonry. It secures the suspension rod at the correct angle to present the Aeris shell vertically below the ceiling, ensuring the fireplace hangs straight and true in the space. The polished steel finish mirrors the hardware of the suspension rod and complements the full range of Aeris shell and rod finishes.
Minimal and refined
At just 2.5 cm in height and 19 cm in diameter, the ceiling mount is deliberately unobtrusive — a disc of polished steel that disappears into the ceiling and draws no attention away from the fireplace below. The installation requires no visible fixings at the ceiling surface once the cover plate is in place.
Compatibility
Compatible with the Cocoon Aeris suspension rod and all Aeris shell configurations. If your ceiling is angled rather than flat, an angled ceiling mount bracket is available separately. Installation should be carried out by a competent tradesperson, with the fixing point located in a structural element capable of supporting the combined weight of the rod and shell.
