Foco Room Divider 800 Slim
A room divider with a real flame running through it changes the character of a space entirely. The Foco Room Divider 800 Slim is a three-sided built-in bioethanol fireplace designed to sit within a partition wall and be seen from both sides as well as the front, making the fire the natural centrepiece of an open-plan layout. At 80 cm wide, it delivers a flame with genuine presence — and at just 20 cm deep, it fits into walls where a standard-depth insert would not.
A generous flame in a slim profile
The 3.5-litre Superior burner produces up to 3.3 kW of heat output with a burn time of up to 7.5 hours per fill — enough to run through a full evening in a room up to 70 m³. The flame is adjustable, so warmth and burn duration can be balanced to suit the room temperature and how long the fire will be in use. Three tempered glass panels are included, mounted to the open sides of the frame to protect the flame from draughts and keep the fire burning steadily.
4 mm steel, black powder-coated
The Foco frame is made from 4 mm thick stainless steel finished in black powder coating — a construction that is both robust and visually restrained, ensuring the flame rather than the frame draws the eye. The slim 20 cm depth profile is purpose-built for partition walls and media wall configurations where structural depth is at a premium, without any reduction in the quality of the installation or the flame experience.
No electricity, no specialist installation
The Room Divider 800 Slim does not require an electrical connection and can be installed by anyone with basic technical competence — no certification is needed. The frame is set into the wall opening, the glass panels are fixed to the frame, and the burner is placed inside. Where the wall is combustible, heat-insulating boards such as Skamotec panels or fermacell should be used to line the recess before installation.
Clean burning with minimal upkeep
Bioethanol produces no smoke, soot, or ash. The burner is lit with a long-reach lighter and extinguished by closing the burner cover. Flame size is adjusted by varying the burner opening. Fill the burner only with the fuel you plan to use in a single session — bioethanol left in an open burner will evaporate.
