Foco Four 800
The Foco Four is a fundamentally different kind of built-in bioethanol fireplace. Rather than sitting within a wall, it is designed to be suspended beneath a floating wall panel — a base plate fixed to the underside of a projecting wall or ceiling feature, with the burner visible from all four sides below it. The flame appears to float in open space, with no frame, no surround, and nothing beneath it. The Foco Four 800 is the starting point for this configuration at 80 cm wide. A 3.5-litre Superior manual burner is included as standard. Optional automatic burner upgrades are available on request.
A floating flame — open on all four sides
The 3.5-litre Superior burner produces up to 3.2 kW of heat output with a flame length of 45 cm and a burn time of up to 7.5 hours per fill, suited to rooms up to 70 m³. Because all four sides are open, the flame is visible from every direction — front, back, left, and right — creating an effect that no wall-mounted or recessed fireplace can replicate. Three tempered glass panels are included and can be positioned around the flame opening to suit the installation design. Flame height is manually adjustable throughout.
Designed for floating walls and architectural features
The Foco Four consists of a top plate fixed to the underside of the floating wall or ceiling element, with the burner cut-out positioned so the flame sits below the structure and is open to the room on all sides. It is built for interiors where the fireplace is as much a piece of architecture as it is a heat source — island installations, suspended feature panels, and bespoke floating wall designs where a conventional built-in insert would destroy the effect. The top plate is constructed from 4 mm black powder-coated stainless steel, consistent with the build quality of the wider Foco range. No fixed height is specified, as this is determined by the floating wall structure it is attached to.
Installation and safety
No professional certification is required, but the Foco Four demands careful planning of the surrounding structure. All materials used in the floating wall or ceiling element to which the top plate is fixed must be non-combustible. Appropriate fire-rated insulation must be used between the top plate and any combustible structural elements. No electrical connection is required for the standard manual configuration.
Clean-burning, no chimney required
Bioethanol burns without producing smoke, soot, or ash. The burner is lit with a long-reach lighter and extinguished by closing the cover plate. Fill only with the fuel you plan to use in a single session.
